If you have already paid your bill, but are still receiving invoices, please keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your payment. If it has been less than two weeks since you sent your payment, please disregard any invoices that you receive, as we may be unable to intercept them in the mail. If it has been more than two weeks since you remitted payment, please contact us by email.

If you ordered through an agent (such as Publishers Clearing House), please check with the agent to ensure that your order was received and processed. The agent will handle all customer service issues.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription online by clicking here. You may also contact us by email. We will promptly stop your service and issue a refund for any unmailed copies.

If you canceled your subscription, but are still receiving bills, please note that it takes a few days for a cancellation to become effective. Therefore, if you receive any invoices after you have canceled, please ignore them. If you ordered through an agent (e.g., Publishers Clearing House), you should also check with that agent to ensure that your cancellation request was received and processed.

Damaged Print Issues

If your issue frequently arrives damaged and your mailbox is sufficiently sized, then check with the post office to see if the magazine arrives in good condition. If it does not, then please contact us by email.

If this is an isolated event, you can report a damaged issue online by clicking here. Your subscription will be extended to make up for the damaged issue. If you would prefer to receive a replacement issue, please contact us by email.

Late or Missed Print Issues

SUNSET's delivery window is twelve to seven days before the first of each month. Your magazine should not be considered late if it arrives on or before the cover date (the first of each month).

If you have missed an issue, we may have an incorrect address on file. Please click here to verify your address. Your magazines may also have stopped being delivered due to nonpayment. Click here to check the payment status on your account. Any outstanding balance on your account will be listed in the upper right-hand corner of the page. If you would like to pay in full for your subscription, please click here to go to our secure payment page.

If none of these explanations apply, please click here to report the missed issue. Your subscription will be extended to make up for the missed issue. If you would prefer to receive a replacement issue, please contact us by email.

How do I set up my existing subscription on my Android device?

1. Authenticate your subscription in our Account Management Portal.

2. Go to the Google Play Store and download the SUNSET magazine app.

3. Open the app and tap on the three lines in the top left corner.

4. Tap on Sign In.

5. Choose Digital Subscriber.

6. Enter your account number or email address and your password or zip code.

7. Tap Sign In.

iPad and iPhone Support

How do I set up my existing subscription on my Apple device?

1. Authenticate your subscription in our Account Management Portal.

2. Go to the iTunes Store and download the SUNSET magazine app.

3. Open the app and tap on the three lines in the top left corner.

4. Tap on Sign In.

5. Choose Digital Subscriber.

6. Enter your account number or email address and your password or zip code.

7. Tap Sign In.

If you subscribed via iTunes, you will have to restore your subscription with your Apple ID.

I am still unable to sign into the app or view issues once I've signed in.

Back issues are not considered part of a subscription order. However, available back copies can be purchased from the following address. Prices may vary, and the availability of an issue may differ according to consumer demand.

What is included in a subscription?

There are several options to subscribe to SUNSET:

SUNSET Print-Only includes SUNSET magazine delivered to your mailbox.

SUNSET Digital-Only includes SUNSET magazine digitally delivered to select devices.

SUNSET Print + Digital includes both the Print and Digital versions of SUNSET magazine plus the SUNSET Small Spaces e-book.

What is a digital edition account?

A digital edition account is a username and password that allows you to access SUNSET digital products that are included with your subscription. Click here to set one up if you are an existing subscriber.

I subscribed on my device. Does my subscription include access to other digital products?

If you subscribed to the SUNSET digital edition through iTunes, you are able to access other digital products by creating a SUNSET digital edition account. On your device, follow these steps:

1. Open the SUNSET app and tap "Help ."

2. Tap "I Subscribed Through iTunes ."

3. Then tap "I want to create my Sunset Account"

Subscriptions on other devices do not include access to additional digital products at this time.

What issues am I entitled to as part of my digital subscription to SUNSET magazine?

You are entitled to available issues as far back as the start of your subscription or that we have published in the library.

Do my issues expire?

No. Any purchased digital issues or issues available as part of your subscription are yours to keep (unless you delete the downloaded version from your device).

How do I cancel the digital subscription I purchased on my device?

You will have to cancel your subscription by contacting the digital partner through whom it was purchased.

Technical Problems

Cannot Accept Online Payment

There are two reasons we may not be able to accept your online payment:

1. We are unable to locate your account information. If we are unable to access your account, we cannot process your payment. Please click here for tips on locating your account.

2. You subscribed through an agent. If you ordered your subscription through a third party such as Publishers Clearing House, the agent will handle all billing and customer service requests. Please pay the invoice you receive in the mail or contact the agent directly for more information.

Cannot Accept Online Renewal

There are two reasons we may not be able to accept your online renewal:

1. You are part of the Subscriber's Automatic Renewal Program, also known as, Preferred Member. This is a hassle-free subscription program in which we automatically continue your service without sending you renewal notices. Once you are in this program, there is no need for you to transmit renewal instructions either online or through the mail. Of course, you are always in control of your subscription and may cancel at any time.

2. You have not paid for your current subscription. We are unable to extend your subscription contract until we have received payment for your current service period. To check your payment status, please click here. You may also pay your bill online by clicking here.

No active subscription information

This message indicates that, while we have your name on file, you are not currently receiving SUNSET. Your subscription may have expired or been canceled. To renew your subscription, please click here.

Session has expired due to inactivity

For your protection, your customer service session is automatically terminated if you do not respond for a period of time. Simply reconnect to SUNSET Subscription Services to continue working.

Unable to locate account information

It is important that you enter your name and address exactly as they appear on your mailing label. Please make sure you have not typed the letter "O" instead of the number "0" (zero) or the letter "L" instead of the number "1" (one).

If you have been unsuccessful in locating your account, please try using your account number instead. Your account number can be found on your mailing label as well as on all billing and renewal notices.

Unable to process request

If we are unable to process your request, it may be because we were unable to locate your account information. Please click here for tips on locating your account.

If your account was successfully located, then please make sure you have completed all fields on the transaction form. If required fields are left blank, an error message will be displayed. Simply fill in the necessary fields and resubmit your request.
